The conference road trip continued for the Texas Tech Red Raiders Wednesday night, as the team came up just short against the Kansas State Wildcats, 58-51.

Freshman Zach Smith had a block party all night, logging a career-high 5. Robert Turner and Devaugntah Williams did most of the scoring, as they recorded 16 and 13, respectively.

This team is finally figuring out how to play on the road, and it's becoming more and more apparent with each game. The Red Raiders will have their wins this season, it's just a tough, tough conference and this team has to grow up faster.

We'll see what happens when the Horned Frogs visit Lubbock Saturday afternoon.
