A midweek trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico didn't play out quite like the Texas Tech baseball team would've liked, as the Red Raiders fell to the Lobos 6-5.

Tim Tadlock's team fell to an 18-11 record on the season, and have landed at the 19th spot regarding NCAA rankings.

The Red Raiders took a 5-4 lead in the fifth inning, but the Lobos fired back, scoring two runs in the sixth inning that would eventually be enough to hold the Red Raiders at bay.

Next up, Tech sets its sights on TCU. That series will be here in the Hub and it starts on Thursday.
