Thanks to the throng of loyal Saxon fans who pre-ordered copies before it was completed, the band was able to finish the documentary film that covers the bands 30 years as metal heroes.

"Heavy Metal Thunder - The Movie" will makes it's premiere December 9th, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California.  The documentary film was produced by acclaimed filmaker Coolhead, and features contributions from Metallica's Lars Ulrich, and Motorhead's Lemmy and "Fast" Eddie Clarke.

The film includes rare footage of Saxon on Moterhead's 1979 "Bomber" tour, as well as footage from Saxon's recording sessions during the making of their classic "Crusader" and "Innocence is No Excuse" records.

Now put those "devil horns" in the air while you check out the video...
