Smokin’ In The Park Bead Run This Weekend

This is what I like to see, civic groups and bikers working together for a better community.

That Alternative MC is hosting a bead run that will end up at the Post City Park, smack dab into a state championship BBQ cook-off hosted by the Post Rotary Club. That's a lot to digest, so let's break it down.

Riders meet up this Saturday at the Alternative MC Clubhouse at 717 Hiway 62 in Wolfforth. The first bikes out are at 10 a.m. with the last bikes out at 12N. The donation is $10 a rider and $5 a passenger.s. The ride takes everyone to post for a party in the park with the BBQ plus vendors, a bounce house for the kids, a waterslide and even a dance over at the site of the Old Mill Trade Days.

A portion of the proceeds go towards purchasing wheelchairs for needy individuals.
