The end of the summer season brings an incredible event for dogs and their owners.

Last night I made my debut playing in a Local Pool League which was held at The Spoon and one thing took me by surprise was when the other called timeout.

When I was a kid, say 14-16, I did three things, skateboard, play pinball and pool. I had three custom pool cues, one of which was a walking stick that I could knock the snot out of people with if they gave me trouble.  Me and my friends skateboarded to the pool hall (where the pinball machines were) and we would hang out all day.

The world that we live in there are all kinds of ways to show off whatever skill it is that you have. But when the cheese is on the table and you keep your composure, can you finish?

This is a crazy story! You know those little "blue tips" on the end of pool cues?  Well, it involves that, but the fun part of the story is where it went and how it came back.

It's your "last chance to water-dance" this weekend at the City of Lubbock pools.  I know we're keeping the budget down, but would it hurt to keep them open a little while longer?  Read more after the break.
