Sir Wayne Static has officially pulled the plug on Static-X. After Nick Oshiro left the band in 2009, and lead guitarist Koichi Fukuda and bassist Tony Campos called it quits in 2010, it was only a matter of time for the end of the band known as Static-X.
I am very excited to finally know that Static-X will return to doing what they do best and that's touring. But this time they will be playing their entire debut album "Wisconsin Death Trip" which will make for a killer show.
Just about a year ago Wayne Static was here to perform in Lubbock in support of his album "Pighammer." Wayne's show was killer, but it was the night before the show I'll never forget when I went bowling with Wayne and his wife.
It looks like we'll start having regular concerts in October (a lot of bands are finally realizing that it's too hot to tour Texas before then). As I've mentioned before, we were going to do an event called "The FMX Monsters Ball", but the lineup got delayed.&n…
These two events ought to go together like peanut butter and chocolate. They're both yummie too! Tonight we rock with Static-X at Jake's, plus Rooster throws a party at Jaguars Gold. More after the jump.
