Texas Tech Baseball Wins In Manhattan, Jumps To 18th In The Country

The Red Raiders had another strong weekend during a visit to the "Little Apple" as the team won their series of the Wildcats of Kansas State.

Tech dropped the first game Friday night by a score of 5-3, but rallied for a 7-1 win on Saturday and a 4-1 win on Sunday afternoon.

The two wins and overall solid outing propelled the Red Raiders to 18th in the national rankings, as the team jumped a spot from last week's 19th ranking.

The team will travel to Midland for a showdown with Abilene Christian on Tuesday night.
