The Red Raider baseball team took a trip to Sin City and took on the Runnin' Rebels of UNLV on Monday and Tuesday. The team split the two-game trip, dropping Monday's contest but taking victory Tuesday.

Monday's bout featured 13 runs overall, as UNLV plated eight while Texas Tech logged just five. Tuesday was quite a different story as the Red Raiders went ballistic and ran rampant, scoring 14 runs while giving up six.

Tech will return to the Hub City to host the Kansas State Wildcats for a three-game home stand starting on Friday, April 1st.
