Texas Tech Uses 16 Innings To Defeat Abilene Christian

It was a very, very long evening to endure for fans and players alike Tuesday night on the diamond, but the Red Raiders did prevail over the Abilene Christian Wildcats with a final of 6-5.

Fans got to see almost two games-worth of action on Tuesday, as the Wildcats proved to be a good test before the fifth-ranked Red Raiders fly out to California to play Cal State Fullerton for a three-game series.

Texas Tech improved to 10-1 overall for the year, as they continue to sit at that fifth spot in the country for the fourth week in a row.
