We respect our heritage. Bruce Springsteen played a major part in the history of FMX, and Clarence Clemmons was a big park of the E Street Band. Read More after the jump.

The "Big Man" who swung the sax and provided the "ho ho ho's" in "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" has passed away following a stroke. Clarence was 69.  Back in the 80's, when homophobia was acceptable, Bruce and The Big Man made a "soul kiss" part of the show and nobody questioned the manliness of these two when they locked lips. The two were almost a comedy act on stage and never was there a better example of one being the "heart" of the band while the other was the "soul."

So, you may be a fan of Avenged, or Nirvana or some other band that seemingly has little to do with the "E Street Band," but remember all of us rockers are family and when one hurts, we all hurt.

Rest In Peace Big Man.
