With the holidays upon us and loved ones traveling to spend time together, I decided now would be a good time to share a little known benefit all Texans are entitled to use.

On the back of every Texas drivers license is an 800 hundred number motorists can call to receive free roadside assistance when needed.

Simply by calling 800-525-5555 a service truck and a highway patrol officer will be dispatched to your location for free emergency assistance courtesy of your state taxes.
