This Saturday You Can Trick Or Treat For The Animals At The Haven

This may be the greatest thing to happen in the history of the world.

There are a lot of us animal lovers. There are also a lot of circumstances that keep us from owning all of the animals that we'd like to own if we can. Those circumstances could be anything from your dog doesn't like cats, to simply not being able to handle the vet bills of another animal. Personally, I have kept those things in mind and thought, "Well, if I can't have another animal, I can at least help out with another animal".

This Saturday and next Saturday you can help out a whole bunch of animals (as much or as little as you like) at The Haven Animal Shelter. It's kind of a reverse trick-or-treat situation, and it is super fun and super cute. It's very simple, plastic pumpkins are attached to the animal enclosures and you can visit as many as you can leaving treats for the animals.

I can't say that you're not going to fall in love with a pup or kitty. What I can say is that even if you do, maybe you could brighten that pets life with regular visits until a regular home is found (they even have a *Virtual Adoption* program). I can say you'll certainly brighten their day and help stretch the resources out at the Haven by participating in this event. The Haven is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and it is truly worth your while to drop by and love on these animals.
