Two Shows That Are Not To Be Missed “Queen Caveat” And “The Reverend Horton Heat”

Maybe this blog is not properly titled.   It should be "Two Shows I'M not going to miss".  I, of course, will do the FMX Birthday Bash and The FMX Big Purple Party", but there are two clubs shows that are on my calendar.

I guess it'll go in reverse order, because the second show doesn't need a lot of explaining.  I will NOT miss The Reverend Horton Heat May 20th.  I've always been a fan of The Rev's jet-fueled rockabilly freakouts.

The next show requires a tiny big of explanation. You will be hit with a big wave of California bands very soon. There are signed to labels, they're all writing songs for new albums and they're all getting ready to launch.  Chief among them is "Queen Caveat" who have already been called "L.A.s Best Live Band".  They might be a tiny bit "alternative" for some of you, but then again, maybe it's time to open your ears to a new sound.  Lead singer Lauren Little is VERY easy on the eyes too.  The band is playing March 18th after  THREE nights at South By Southwest in Austin.  Find out more about the band here.
