Easily the biggest upsets of the weekend were the Arizona Cardinals traveling to Foxboro, Massachusetts to deliver the heralded New England Patriots their first loss, and the Stanford Cardinal taking out the second-ranked USC Trojans in Palo Alto.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took down Sparty in East Lansing to hand Michigan State its first loss and to keep Notre Dame's record intact at 3-0.

NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup kicked off at Chicagoland and Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag.

My poor Titans got popped in the mouth in San Diego, as the Titans have now lost eight straight to the San Diego "Super" Chargers.
