Was Your First Car Sleek Or Suck?

You first car can be a thing of beauty or an absolute nightmare. I loved mine, but I was so poor and stupid I locked the engine up on it.

The Ford Ranchero actually predated the Chevrolet El Camino, even though the El Camino is the one that eventually won the fight. Mine had the huge engine (sorry I can't remember specs) and the custom "wood" accent on the that recessed part from the door to the tailgate.  Other than my inattention, it was a great, but gas guzzling car.

I was lucky. For many of you that first car was a constant headache. You deal with overheating, busted speakers, and constant repairs. So do you look back fondly at that first car or are you glad to get rid of it? If you had a chance to have your first car back, or the same model, would you want it? Or are you more of a "latest" or "new" car person?
