Let's get this out of the way first. Rooster is so far up Danny Worsnip's ass, he can see out of his mouth. I am not Rooster. If this album wasn't worthy of a write up, I wouldn't be saying anything. With all of that out of the way, I'm giving this album an A+

I'm not even going to get into the Asking Alexandria thing. That doesn't concern me. I like the three tracks we played, but I have no real history with the band.  All of this is good because We Are Harlot is 100% it's own thing.  "Screaming" Danny Worsnip barely appears on this album, only adopting that approach on a couple of lines on the whole album. Instead, what you get is the party album of the year. This is music to drink beer and   hunt for girls with, but still not what I'd call "bro-rock". This is "she's-driving-me-crazy-and-I'm-going-wild" stuff. It's good time party rock that also transcends genres.  I reminds me a bit of the more pop songs of Motley Crue. There's giant melodic hooks and not a single throwaway song on the whole album. It's eleven solid songs that should be in every single persons collection.  Guitar fans will love the wild abandon of Jeff George's solos, especially on the second track "Dirty Little Thing".  The album features a couple of monster ballads, one in the middle that doesn't really slow up the album at all, and one at the end that serves as a pretty good "last hurrah" for the album.

Buy this one. There's no reason why it shouldn't be the soundtrack of summer.
