5th Golden Gods Awards Airs This Thursday Night

It's hard to believe this awards show has already been around for half of a decade, but in that time, it's become a solid fixture in today's metal scene. The awards show is planned to air on Thursday with some very special guests.

Special, yes, I meant it. We're talking Anthrax, Five Finger Death Punch, Dillinger Escape Plan, Halestorm, Danzig, Stone Sour, and the Mighty Metallica.

The show will air live through AXS TV, but if you can't obtain that channel, hook yourself up on Facebook or even Xbox Live.

Metallica will be receiving the "Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award" as Tony Iommi will receive the "Riff Lord" award and Rob Zombie will take home the "Golden God Award".
