The winding twists and turns of the famed track in Wine Country proved to be just as challenging as ever, with Carl Edwards claiming his first road course victory.

It's been a long time coming for Edwards, as he's tried and tried over the years to rise victoriously, but Sunday was the first time that happened for the #99. He certainly made his case of legitimacy this year as well, as he held off road course expert Jeff Gordon in the waning laps.

Speaking of Gordon and Hendrick Motorsports, all four drivers for the team finished in the top 10, as Gordon finished 2nd, Earnhardt Jr. in 3rd, Kasey Kahne in 6th and Jimmie Johnson in 7th.

Next week, we hit the hills of Kentucky.
