Dave Grohl And The Zac Brown Band Pound The Country Music Awards [VIDEO]

The other night, I was at the house lounging around watching TV when my mom called asking if I was "watching this man" banging the drums on the Country Music Awards. Of course my response was 'why in the hell would I have that tuned in'.

So, I flipped over to check out what on earth she was talking about and to my surprise it was friggin' Dave Grohl going ballistic on the new Zac Brown Band tune "Day for the Dead".

Come to find out, Zac Brown is a big time Grohl fan, “I want to work with Dave Grohl” Brown told Country Vibe, “Dave Grohl is one of our musical heroes as a band and he said that he would be interested in doing that too”

Word has it that Grohl has agreed to produce the new Zac Brown record.
