Disney to Remake ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’ as a Ninja Adventure Movie

Disney is planning to remake the 1937 classic animated feature, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’ with a serious twist: the gentle dwarves will be reimagined as 19th-century ninjas.

The reboot, set in China, will focus on Snow White’s seven pals who each have their own special fighting skill. The little guys will “find redemption” after meeting Snow White, on the run from her evil stepmother.

Disney’s been working on the unique storyline since 2002 and ’Black Swan’ star Natalie Portman is reportedly in talks to play the creamy-skinned maiden. In the interim, two other Snow White films — one featuring Julia Roberts and another with ‘Twilight’ star Kristen Stewart — have been made and will be released next year.
