K.K. Downing has traded-in his signature flying-v guitar for a nine-iron.
The Ex-Judas Priest guitarist purchased the beautiful Astbury Hall, located in Shropshire, England, back in 1985. His original plan was to raise a family on  the property, but when that didn't work out, Downing bought the surrounding 450 acres to follow his dream of having a championship golf course.

He designed both the 18 and nine hole courses and hopes to host professional tournaments in the near future. Downing has denied the rumors that one of the main reasons he retired from Judas Priest was so he could pursue his love for the game. Now be sure and yell "Fore" before you check out the video.
