Ex-Texas Tech Red Raiders Light Up the G-League With Highlights
The NBA G-League is going through a bit of a revolution, and has become more competitive and exciting as a result. There's some real momentum for the G-League than ever before to become a legitimate league and pull real talent away from overseas professional leagues and be a real "minor league" system for the NBA.
Some of that talent that could be overseas but stuck it out in the G-League are former Red Raiders Keenan Evans and Zach Smith. Also in the G-League is Zhaire Smith, who is coming off a broken foot suffered in the off-season.
Smith made his debut over the weekend and -- surprise, surprise -- his old buddy Keenan Evans was there to dish him a dime:
Not only is the Evans to Smith connection back up and running, there's another Red Raider named Smith still roaming the lanes, stuffing any weak crap getting put up in transition. That's right: Zach Smith is also dominating the G-League.

The final ex-Red Raider over the weekend didn't finish his career at Texas Tech, but he played there during some trying times before moving on to Arkansas. Dusty Hannahs dropped 30 over the weekend, and had a few fancy assists:
