Filter Releases New Song ‘Take Me To Heaven’

Richard Patrick and Filter have certainly done a myriad of musical things over the years, and this new material is definitely a curveball worth paying attention to.

Doused in reverbs and delays, the new material takes things back to a more industrial feel all while making good on the promised heavy, rich bass and guitar lines. The single, titled "Take Me To Heaven" is set to be featured upcoming album scheduled for an April release.

Crazy Eyes will be the new full-length effort and will hit stores shelves and online retailers on April 8th.

Patrick stated he wanted to musically visit "some scary, weird places" with this new offering, including pushing the envelope by raising questions about "this corrupt world we live in."
