Green Day to Release Documentary On Past Album

We all remember how big Green Day got back a decade ago. Hits like "Holiday" and "American Idiot" were all over the radio not only here but all around the world. A documentary for the album that spawned those singles is on the way, too.

It's hard to believe that the monster album American Idiot in 2004, yet that's how fast time has flown. Here in a month we'll be getting a whole serving of footage in the form of a documentary displaying the making of the album.

The film, Heart Like A Hand Grenade, will hit theaters on the 15th of October and will include nine months worth of captured footage of the recording of the band's biggest album that launched them to superstardom.
