So, when a company either fails to disclose the presence of peanuts or discovers that their product is potentially contaminated with them, the responsible thing to do is issue a recall and inform as many people as possible.
That is what Vita Warehouse Corp. for one lot of "Welby® brand Vitamin B12 Energy Support gummy product 1000 mcg 140 gummies, Berkely Jensen® Vitamin B12 1000 mcg 250 Gummies, and VitaGlobe™ Vitamin B12 Extra Strength 60 Gummies," according to the FDA.

The potential presence of the peanut was discovered during a routine test conducted by retailer ALDI, which carries the product.

The gummies were available at ALDI and BJ's stores, and online at vitaglobe.com and amazon.com. If you have bought any of these products and are concerned about peanut contamination, check them against these lot codes and expiration dates, which are printed on the bottom of the bottle:
