The front man for the California band Papa Roach had to leave for surgery last month after  a couple stops on the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival.

Shaddix had to get surgery for his throat, as there was a negatively acting nodule on one of his vocal cords, causing him to completely lose his voice after surgery.

Shaddix made another doctor visit yesterday, and says "the doctor said that I could start warming up. It was funny because they put a camera down my nose and down my throat to look down there and they couldn't see which side they operated on because it healed so well. It's healing really well."

Shaddix himself doesn't believe that there will be a difference or any long term effects subjected upon his voice, but only time will tell if that is indeed the case.
