Martinsville has earned the reputation of being a track that tries the patience and temper of drivers and Sunday, Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano continued their feud. The #24 team, however, was strong enough to hold off Jamie McMurray and advance for a shot at the championship.

Joey Logano was actually in the race lead, and Kenseth, who'd been damaged and far behind after an earlier wreck, took the opportunity to take out Logano that arose in the waning laps.

Jeff Gordon took the benefit, but still had a tough time keeping Jamie McMurray from overtaking him as Denny Hamlin secured third, Dale Earnhardt Jr. took fourth and Kyle Busch finished fifth.

Next week, it's on to Dallas as the NASCAR circuit comes back down to Texas.
