Jimmie Johnson made history on a stormy evening in Charlotte as he became the first driver to win four all-star races, breaking the tie with Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon.

Rain delays held up the festivities throughout the night, but eventually all five segments were completed.

The All-Star race has always been a cool concept to me, as there are four 20 lap segments, then one 10 lap segment as the grand finale. Oh, and each team has to come in for a four-tire pit stop. It's something that mixes the odds up and the race is certainly something of its own style.

Big names like Brad Keselowski, Danica Patrick, and Jeff Gordon never really caught on tonight, but we'll see what happens next week as the drivers stay in Charlotte for next week's Coca-Cola 600.
