Awkward: Basketball Star John Wall Botches First Pitch at Nationals Game [VIDEO]

As millions learned Friday, there’s a reason John Wall plays basketball and not baseball.

The Washington Wizards point guard had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at Friday’s game between the Washington Nationals and the Baltimore Orioles.

Unfortunately, his skills on the field weren’t nearly as good as they are on the court, resulting in one of the more awkward first-pitch moments in recent memory.

Luckily, Wall had a sense of humor about it all. “it was fun throwing out the first pitch at the Nats game…Even though I threw a bounce pass like it was a basketball!!,” he tweeted afterward.”
