Jordyn Brooks Is Drafted 27th Overall in the 2020 NFL Draft
Jordyn Brooks splashed onto the scene in the absence of Dakota Allen, and that's saying something for a four-year starter.
Brooks had solid production his entire tenure, albeit on sub-par defenses. His 108 tackles as a senior was by far his best season, and adding 20 tackles for loss turned Brooks into a serious prospect.
Add his 4.5 from the combine to the mix, and you get a first round grade.
Brooks will join the Seattle Seahawks after Pete Carroll and company picked him 27th overall. He'll be able to play his former head coach Kliff Kingsbury's Arizona Cardinals twice a year in NFC West play.
Brooks will be joining fellow Red Raider Branden Jackson, who re-signed with the Seahawks this offseason.
