Massive Accident In Beaumont, Texas Thanksgiving Morning Send Dozens To The Hospital [VIDEO]

Every year thousands and thousands of people hit the highways to travel to spend time with family and loved ones for the Thanksgiving holiday. This year, I decided to stay home rather than making the drive to Beaumont to see my mom and my sister.

This afternoon I saw where there has been a major pile up on I-10 in Beaumont in involving at least 100 vehicles. At last count at least 54 people have been taken to the hospital and at least eight of those are critical.

After talking to mom this morning I found out it was extremely foggy there and that visibility was zero. All indications are the accident was caused by the fog.

Sad news to hear anytime, or from any where, but this hits close to home. Be safe out there folks, slow it down and look out for each other. I promise you your friends and family would rather you arrive late than to never arrive at all.
