Striking French actress Mélanie Laurent burned her way into our lustful hearts with her bad ass turn as a vengeful Nazi-killing beauty in Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar winning ‘Inglourious Basterds.’

In a 2010 interview, Laurent said she joined ‘Basterds’ because, “It’s been my dream to kill Hitler since I was like four.” She’s gorgeous, she’s talented, she has a sexy accent, and she has ambition! Mélanie Laurent, it was only a matter of time until you made the Crush list.

Since she set the screen on fire, quite literally, in ‘Basterds,’ Laurent has appeared in a number of French and American flicks, most notably starring opposite Ewan McGregor in the honest (and worth watching) 2010 indie romance ‘Beginners,’ in which she played one of the hottest Manic Pixie Dream Girls not named Zooey Deschanel.

Laurent just joined the cast of upcoming twisty psychological thriller ‘An Enemy,’ starring Jake Gyllenhaal as a guy who stalks his double. While we’re pretty sure that two Jake Gyllenhaals does not a good movie make, we’re willing to sit through this one to catch Laurent stealing scenes on the big screen one more time.

We also look forward to catching Laurent in ‘Now You See Me,’ the upcoming action drama from ‘Transporter’ director Louis Leterrier co-starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo and Michal Caine as a team of bank-robbing magicians, set for a 2013 release.
