April 18th is now being known as Record Store Day, and to celebrate, Metallica is releasing copies of the band's very first demo in its original form.

From the handwriting that Lars Ulrich scribbled on the cassette, to the seven demo tracks that all ended up on Kill 'Em All, the demo tape No Life 'Til Leather is sure to be a hit with fans new and old.

The demo was created in 1982 and got the band's foot in the door, so it'll be cool to hear how the band sounded, even with a full re-master.

Keep an eye out for the No Life 'Til Leather cassette in your favorite record store on the 18th of April.
