Metallica Working On 3-D Concert Film

Metallica is cool in 2-D. You know they'll be ever cooler in the upcoming 3-D movie. The band is currently working on the film that will feature live footage shot during a 2012 show in Vancouver, Canada.

Not long ago, Lars Ulrich shared some insight with Classic Rock Magazine on what we can expect. Ulrich explained how the film will basically have two story-lines running throughout the film. A backstage look into a Metallica live show that won't feature the band; that will intersect with Metallica's live performance.

It almost sounds like it could have a "reality" feel to it.
