I'm not much of an NHL fan, but hey, you trot out James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett to play the National Anthem and you'll get me to sit up and take notice.

Hetfield and Hammett had the honor of playing the anthem before Game 4 of last night's Stanley Cup Final between the San Jose Sharks and Pittsburgh Penguins. The guitars used for the performance will be auctioned off to help out the Sharks Foundation with proceeds going to Little Kids Rock and Ronald McDonald House.

Unfortunately, the two members of Metallica couldn't help the Sharks as San Jose went down 3-1 to the Penguins.
