Miss May I Involved in Vehicle Pile Up, Bow Out of Chicago Show
Miss May I were en route to Chicago for a show tonight (March 1), but they will not be performing. The band was involved in an accident en route to the show and revealed via that they would not be able to play.
In a pair of tweets, the group first revealed that they were involved in "a huge pile up," but did reveal that all the band members and their crew were safe. A second tweet followed revealing a photo of the smashed rear end of their trailer. They also commented that their rig was "beat up," but that everyone was fine. See the tweets below.
Even though Miss May I were not able to make it to Chicago, the rest of the acts on their tour will still be playing at the Metro this evening. A War Within, Sirens and Sailors and The Plot in You will all play ahead of headliners Blessthefall.
The next stop on the tour comes Wednesday night (March 2) in Detroit at St. Andrews Hall. The group has not commented on whether or not they'll rejoin the tour for that show. See all of Miss May I's tour dates here.
