I just came across this teaser video of a documentary entitled "Nola: Life, Death And Heavy Blues From The Bayou" which features members of Down, Goatwhore, Eyehategod, Crowbar and more talking about everything that the title says and it looks pretty cool.

This documentary even touches base on Hurricane Katrina and how it effected the music scene and influenced the music of NOLA.

This series will start on Tuesday September 16th and run through October 7th and believe me I will be checking this out for myself. It's really cool to see how different albums shaped a genre of music and getting to hear the stories from the bands that made them.

Checkout the trailer and get ready Tuesday September 16th for "Nola: Life, Death And Heavy Blues From The Bayou."
