Playing For Change [VIDEO]

Let's face it all people enjoy music; regardless of the type of music we prefer, music is a tie that binds people all over the world. Every where we go these days we hear different types of music, we turn on the TV and we see programs geared at finding talented singers who other wise may never be discovered.

That being said, we've all seen 'em; whether on TV or in person in cities like Dallas, Austin, San Antonio or any other large city, I'm talking about musicians who sing or play instruments (or both) for spare change. And that is exactly the roots of this new program called "Playing For Change."

Basically this movement is being driven by the belief that all people; regardless of color, religion, or even location have one thing in common... music

Playing For Change started out with a small group of people traveling around recording some of these street artists and sharing their music on the Internet. It wasn't long before this group decided to use the music as a way to give back to the street performers by compiling the songs into a CD.
