The #19 was just plain fast on Sunday in Tennessee, as the backflipping racing sensation Carl Edwards took home the checkered flag after a hard-fought day at one of the toughest tracks on the circuit.

The roar of Bristol usually means 500 16-second laps and a whole lot of action, but Edwards managed to keep away from the drama that usually transpires in the arena-like atmosphere.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. also proved his excellence at the short track, posting a second-place finish, while Kurt Busch, rookie Chase Elliott, and Trevor Bayne rounded out the top five.

Onward to Richmond!
