Rob Zombie's "Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor" will combine the old days of White Zombie with where Rob's head is today, to form a perfect combination of the two.

Zombie, a seven-time Grammy nominee, tells The Pulse of Radio how he approached the making of the new record, "I wanted someone to hear it and go, 'Wow, I haven't heard that before,'" he said. "I wanted it to be just different. We really went out of our way with the sounds, so every song has a very different sound, a very different guitar sound, drum sound, just everything, where the sound, the actual sound becomes very important. You know, after all these years you want to still try to feel that you can break through new, creative areas in your own mind, and that's really what we're just trying to do, you know."

"Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor" is set to be released on April 23.  Zombie's fifth solo record, will include a rocking cover of the 1973 hit "We're an American Band" from Grand Funk Railroad.

On April 26, Rob Zombie's sixth motion picture "The Lords Of Salem" will make its premiere.
