Despite the fact that Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators just released World on Fire six months ago, Slash says he has started work on new material.

Speaking with Classic Rock magazine Slash revealed that he draws inspiration while on the road were he finds it easier to write and jam new ideas. Slash had this to say on the subject:  "I take my phone and I record ideas on the phone and then we jam stuff at soundchecks; when we have soundchecks. So we compile a bunch of ideas, and then when the tour is over, we go home and, sort of, hash them out."

With a Spring Tour that kicks off on the 15th of April and runs through the month of May, Slash should have plenty of time to work on the follow up to 2014's World on Fire.

The Spring Tour 2015 will make two stops in the Texas with dates on 5/23 in Houston and Dallas on 5/24.
