Good news coming in tonight about your LP&L bill, it seems the board has voted to lower electricity rates.

If you read my blog yesterday you will remember me telling you about my family's LP&L incident this week. Well sit down because the freaking turmoil continued today.

Stephen Jones is as upset about the BS LP&L is pulling on us as we all are. So he attempted to make his outrage known. I say attempted because Stephen paid his entire bill, around $500, in change.

I'm not an LP& L hater. In fact, I find most of the people who are 'haters' start the hate with something like "I was just 'x' amount late on the bill."  Guess what?  Don't pay your bill late. The world does not owe you electricity. Electricity is optional to life (not very optional, but certainly not in the same category as air or water).

The city council voted to end "mandatory" rebates from city owned Lubbock Power and Light.  Let's get one thing straight, these 'rebates' would not have made anyone rich.  In fact, I think the reason they changed the wording to "may" rebate from "mandatory" was that the amount was so small this year.   The problem is, why even use a word like "mandatory" if
