Texas Construction Company Tears Down Wrong Home After Using Google Maps
The tornadoes that tore through the Dallas area before Christmas left many houses damaged beyond repair.
9 News reports that a duplex was accidentally torn when the company got the wrong house using Google Maps.
Apparently this building had damage, too, but the owners were going to fix it up. Now, it sits in a pile of rubble after the mistake. The demolition company has already come forward admitting the mistake. You can see pictures of the very costly mistake.
That will probably teach the company to be a little more careful and not just use Google Maps to find a home. I'm guessing there will be some sort of lawsuit ahead.
