Texas Tech Track and Field star Divine Oduduru won the National Championship in the 200m this weekend to help get the Men's Track and Field team a 5th place finish in the NCAA Championships.

Oduduru, a sophomore, ran a 20.28 to grab the national title by less than 100th of a second.

The race was great, but he killed the post-race celebration.

"It's the dream of every student-athlete to get to the national meet," Oduduru said. "Coming over and winning it, I’m very happy. I want to say thank you to my coach and my teammates and everyone who made today a reality. I appreciate God for having those people around me."

Texas Tech had a final point total of 33 to finish in a tie with Alabama.

Odaine Lewis finished as the runner-up with a PR in the triple jump and former National Champion Trey Culver finished in 4th place in the high jump.
