The Carolina Panthers Love Creed

Linebacker Ben Jacobs and All-Pro Tight End Greg Olsen have disclosed a probable secret to the team's most recent success: Creed.

More specifically, the two in particular take it upon themselves to "Creedbomb" their teammates. So what is "Creedbombing" and how is this exclusive ritual so damned powerful?

According to Jacobs, the act of busting out in song "randomly" has "taken on a life of its own." What happens when one Creedbombs is the Creedbomber makes "really deep, direct eye contact" and throws some classic Creed lyrics in the face of the Creedbombed.

This act scientifically makes the affected player better because they're just so inspired to play as deeply and emotionally as the lyrics they've just heard -- I...think..?

Anyway, perhaps Creedbombing isn't the recipe for going undefeated the majority of the regular season, but make no mistake that this act is certainly a key cog in the machine that is the Carolina Panthers. They'll probably need their most Creedbombs yet, as they'll play the other top team in the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals, on Sunday.
