It was on this day in 1946 that Bon Scott the lead singer of AC/DC was born. Bon was the lead singer from 1974 until his death in 1980. He  was born in Kirriemuir, Scotland.

While Scott was with AC/DC they released 6 albums together, starting in 1974 "High Voltage" was released, followed by "T.N.T."  "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" "Let There Be Rock" "Powerage." Then the final release before Bon Scott's death "Highway To Hell."

His power on stage was absolutely amazing. I really think that he is underestimated as a blues singer, but one of the greatest lead men of all time. After his death, he was replaced by Brian Johnson and  AC/DC would release one of the greatest album of all time "Back In Black"  in 1980.

We salute Bon Scott on his birthday!
