The defending NASCAR champion Tony Stewart got his first win with crew chief Steve Addington in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Tony Stewart has now won a Sprint Cup series race in each of the last 14 years, and he just added his name to the Kobalt Tools 400 trophy. This Las Vegas race is the third of the year, and that gives Stewart an advantage in seasonal standings.

Stewart fought a hard battle against a strong 48 car of Jimmie Johnson, who ended up second. Jeff Gordon ended up 12th and newcomer Timmy Hill finshed 42nd in his first Sprint Cup series race.
