As I mentioned, on the show, Saturday night... Alison Mosshart should be everyone's rock-n-roll woman crush. She gives hope to the future of female rock vocalists.

Many of you may know her as the singer, for The Kills, but she has worked, for a few years now, with Jack White, formerly of The White Stripes, Dean Fertita, of Queens of the Stone Age, and Jack Lawrence, of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes, as lead singer for The Dead Weather.  Their debut album, Horehound, was released in July, 2009.  They've since released a second album, Sea of Cowards (2010), and as of July of this year, Jack White has officially stated they are writing and recording new material, for a third album. If you have not been introduced to The Dead Weather, do yourself a favor... Check them out!  There is nothing like watching Alison Mosshart perform, and you'll notice, Jack White plays drums, for this project, as well. This makes him a triple threat, in the music business. I'm certainly anxiously anticipating the opportunity to hear more, from The Dead Weather.  I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, make Alison Mosshart your Wednesday woman crush. She's earned it, in my book! #wcw
