Volbeat Hits the Mark at FMX Freakfest

Volbeat rode into town with both barrels blazing on a cool Tuesday night to stir up a Lonestar Event Center crowd that was ready for a good ol' fashioned rock 'n roll showdown.

Polished like dual pearl-handled pistols, Volbeat blazed through a skull splitting set that featured the smoking intro to 'Dead But Rising' to a tip of the hat to Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.

With the FMX Freakfest crowd chanting 'Thank You, Thank You Very Much' (in Elvis throat) to gathering a group of kiddos on stage to pay tribute to the next generation of rockers with a kid-friendly version of 'Pool of Booze' that was changed to 'Pool of Chocolate' the band delivered the goods.
