It's no secret that this year's Big Purple Party is packed with big names and amazing talent. But one of those bands might just steal the show -- and you'll have to rush out the Amp to see 'em.

Lubbock's Buddy Holly statue is a beacon for rock and roll. So it was fitting that the landmark served as the stage for a killer mini-show by Apocalyptica.

Let's start out with a fact: the 34th annual FMX Birthday Bash kicked ass. It was a great lineup and a great crowd. Everything was awesome from start to finish.
